Well I've just 'updated' the look of my blog as per week 2 of learning 2.1. I hope I'm going to be able to complete this course, as the first one made me feel much more confident using 2.0 technologies - and experimenting more with my virtual self!
Thanks SLNSW for continuing on - and valuing our continuing education!!

Library Promotion and Marketing
I've started doing the online Marketing Course for Libraries thanks to ALIA and FOLIOz and decided I would try and add LIS articles I found on proquest (again thanks to ALIA) relevant to marketing - this way I could share the information as well as return to them quickly and keep track of what I've read for my bibliography and/or PD points.
Well, here goes...if all goes well, my search strategy and results should appear at the end of these posts as a 'gadget'!

My Dewey Classification
I found this great little website thanks to Helene Blowers and her blog LibraryBytes.
My results follow...
AtticusM's Dewey Decimal Section:
525 Earth (Astronomical geography)
AtticusM = 11088543199 = 110+885+431+99 = 1525
Class:
500 Science
Contains:
Math, astronomy, prehistoric life, plants and animals.
What it says about you:
You are fascinated by the world around you, and see it as a puzzle worth exploring. You try to understand how things work and how you can make them better. You might be a nerd.
